physical adaptations
The Pygmy Marmoset has many physical adaptations that it has developed in order to survive. These adaptations include the ability to spin its head around 180°, having sharp claws, its keen set of front teeth, a large cecum (the beginning of its large intestine), its tail (which is longer than its body!), and its brown stripes over thick, orange-brown fur. Other adaptations of this type are its large mane covering the ears, glands on its chest, and its lack of opposable thumbs.
